In the next degree work, was developed on the application of the Kodaly method in the school project Coro Estudiantil Maria Mazzarello College located in canton Sígsig, based on the characteristics presented by the Kodaly method, which focuses on teaching an active school where the teacher interacts with the student through music.
Within the melodic work in Kodaly we have learning through fononimia, which consists of differentiating the heights of the musical notes with the help of the body, and, within the rhythmic work through the use of syllables. This method also aims to emphasize the music of his people, as in the case of the Kodaly pedagogue who applied it in Hungary with songs, children's rounds, and folklore from that place. The genres that have been taken for the application of this method in the Institution are yumbo, san juanito, bomba (Chota), and pasillo, as it is described in chapter two, in which, an organized it explains step by step exercises made to obtain a good result in the execution of the works.
Also, in turn the vocal technique was applied, within the application of the method, which is described in chapter three with exercises proposed by the teacher.
Finally, the final presentation is made with the execution of the works exhibited by students of the Student Chorus
