Resumen
The development of infants during the first years of life is important because solid
bases are defined for an adequate subsequent development, behavior is one of the
important elements within development being sometimes difficult to distinguish a
normal behavior from a pathological one, for this it is important to know the type of
behavior to determine if it is appropriate or not; without ignoring that this can vary
according to their development, temperament and behavior which must be
understood by their parents in order to interpret, adapt, accept or modify behavior,
for these reasons it is intended to carry out the research project to parents or
caregivers of children from 2 to 5 years of age of the Educational Unit "El Pan" and
CDI "El Paraíso", of the canton el Pan, through the application the Eyberg Scale.

The data obtained will be collected in Microsoft Excel 2016 and will determine the
relationship using the IBM SPSS version 22 statistical program. The analysis of
quantitative variables will be carried out through measures of mean, median and
fashion central tendency and qualitative variables through frequency and percentage
tables.
RESULTS:
Of the total of 67 children evaluated, it is observed in behavior and age that 5-yearold children are the ones who present a behavioral alteration with 10.45%; In terms
of behavior and sex, boys present behavior alteration with 16.42%, being the male
sex more likely to present behavior alteration than girls; in the socioeconomic level

level with behavior alteration 13.43%; and in relation to the behavior and type of
family in the present study, it was obtained that children from a nuclear family present

After analyzing all the information collected, it is concluded that despite the fact that
most of the children evaluated in the El Pan Educational Unit and CDI El Paraiso,
high percentages were obtained within normal parameters, after analyzing the
factors: sex, age, socioeconomic level and type of family, it is observed how these
have a great influence on the behavior of children, being 10.45% who present
behavioral risk and 31.34% present behavioral alteration.
