Resumen
The objective of this research is focused on developing concepts to produce a kinetic facade based on parameterization, which optimizes the luminous comfort of an architectural space with poor interior lighting; this, through an adequate distribution of daylight. This research concept is supported by the need to investigate architectural typologies that respond better to the relationship between architecture and the environment, because unlike a static façade, the kinetic facade explores the possibility of becoming an element that Interacts actively with the environment, adapting to the needs according to the demand of external and internal conditions. An experimental research approach was then devised, in which two case studies will be analyzed: the first on a façade with a common window, to analyze, through various software, the form and distribution of daylight to the interior; and for the second case, the processes for the generation of a kinetic facade that by means of the movement of its parts or constructive cells, improve the distribution of daylight and optimize the light comfort of the interior space previously analyzed for the facade with common window. These analyzes for the kinetic façade will be performed using a parametric simulation technique, to finally obtain the results and compare them in illuminance values to the interior of both case studies.
