Resumen
Objective: To determine reliability and validity of Fototest in connection with the Mini Mental Test to detect neurocognitive disorders in patients attending outpatient Hospital "Vicente Corral Moscoso" in the city of Cuenca in 2014.
Materials and Methods: Validation of diagnostic tests, which applied the Fototest and Mini Mental Test (MMSE), all subjects presenting with cognitive complaint outpatient neurology and psychiatry at the Hospital "Vicente Corral Moscoso" during a period four months. For tabulation tables 2x2 was used; the reliability of the test by Pearson correlation in two applications with an interval of two months was determined; validation was performed using sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive value, positive and negative reason likelihood with their respective confidence intervals at 95%; being used to do the SPSS 15.0 software.
Results: In the first application of Fototest sensitivity (76.84%), specificity (86.49%), positive (93.59%) Predictive Value, Negative (59.26%) predictive value, positive likelihood ratio (5.69) and Negative Likelihood Ratio (was obtained 0.27); results improved in his second application, reaching sensitivity (83.52%), specificity (85.11%), positive (91.03%) Predictive Value, Negative (74.04%) predictive value, positive likelihood ratio (5.61) and Negative Likelihood Ratio (0.69 ). Moreover, according to Pearson index, there was correlation of 0.96 in the two applications MMSE; and both applications phototest 0.97.
