Resumen
This research work, presents a design and developed of a prefabricated panel for architectural applications, made by natural fibers. The panel was made with a blend of vegetable fibers of rice shells and straw with siliceous sand particles, these components are agglomerated by a silicate of sodium resin. The mixture of these materials has good properties of workability, compression and with the application of dioxide of carbon CO2, this mixture get hardens quickly, the technique turns in a easy process of serial production of the prefabricated panels of natural fibers.
Across the molding with a manual press, panels got good properties of resistance, module of rupture, density and humidity content; and also have modular measurements, nice textures with comfortable aspect and criteria of reversibility. The panels also present good qualities of thermal and acoustic isolation. The applications and utilities of the panels are for inside covering of: walls, ceiling, and decorative or light partition of interior spaces. Finally the research presents a proposal of installation of the panels, using the same form of renewable and sustainable resources.
