Resumen
The philosophy subject in the first years of high school is very important, because it is based on a set of philosophical categories. Those are about fundamental areas focused on the human tasks which are of current importance. It allows to enhance the development of critical-reflective abilities of students.
From this point of view, this academic paper has as general objective to develop a proposal to use of cinema as a resource for teaching of the philosophy subject at Bachillerato General Unificado, according to critical-pedagogy.
The research approach will be used is qualitative cross-section. It will be used to work with the movies: “Los niños del cielo” by Mayid Mayidí to Ethic and “Azul” by Krzysztof Kieslowski to esthetic.
Thus, this academic paper will contribute to philosophy subject. Also, it will help to develop critical and reflective thinking in students. Taking as reference the critical pedagogy proposed by Paulo Freire.
