Diseño del sendero interpretativo “Jun Jun”, en el sector de Querochaca, cantón Cevallos, provincia de Tungurahua.

Abstract

This research work is proposing designing the Jun Jun interpretative trail, in Querochaca sector, Cevallos canton, Tungurahua province through exploratory, descriptive and prospective research methodologies that have been carried out in a using bibliographic and field review techniques. The work was developed in three stages: the situational diagnosis of the trail was elaborated by means of the study of the physical - spatial scope, where the study area was characterized, the territorial ecological scope through inventories of flora and fauna and the administrative scope and management with the stakeholder analysis and the SWOT matrix, then for the evaluation of the interpretative potential of the trail, the inventory of the resources and the total valuation of each one obtained as a result a high interpretive potential index. In addition the analysis of the profile of visitors to the trail oriented to the economically active population and to the educational unit of the canton, using the surveys as an instrument of evaluation. Finally, the technical study of the trail was carried out, where the actual load capacity was calculated and the interpretative media based on technical design specifications and also complied with the furniture proposal for Jun Jun trail. It is concluded that Jun Jun trail has the adequate technical conditions to be interpreted.
