Resumen
The repowering of the portable boring machine for the repair of construction machinery holes, belonging to SEMAG company, in Nueva Loja city was carried out. This task was executed according to five main stages: evaluation of the technical state of all the elements and components of the machine, technical analysis of repowering, search and selection of materials and equipment, implementation of equipment, development and implementation of a dashboard. control and performance tests. The parameters were evaluated based on the comparison of the initial operating criteria versus the characteristics of the machine after the repowering process, when subjecting it to its use in boring processes under workshop conditions and in its usual field of application. industrial. The exact control of the aforementioned factors improves the reliability and precision of the work carried out, avoiding losses due to poorly done, rejected or reprocessed work. The working speeds for roughing or fine finishing were calculated based on the type of material. It is concluded that the repowering was successful, providing improved operating characteristics with a precise and stable control of the longitudinal advance movements of the main axis and the cutting movement. A method was also obtained for the precise regulation of the cutting depth using a blade holder coupling. It is recommended to place an external support to the frame of the portable boring machine to distribute the weight of the portable boring machine and reduce the friction wear and friction of the naval bronze bushings of the main shaft.
