Resumen
This investigation aimed to evaluate the agronomic performance with 40% and 60% shade in the cultivation of Hydrangea (Hydrangea spp L.) cod. 1-2019 in greenhouses in Pastocalle. A completely randomized block design (CRBD) with 2 treatments and 3 replications was used to evaluate the following variables: percentage of yield, plant height, stem diameter, number of stems per plant, days until 50% of the plants had flowered, polar and equatorial diameter of the inflorescence, yield and benefit/cost ratio. The new cod 1-2019 under study was planted in the greenhouse. The percentage of T2 (40 % shade) was not as effective as T1 (60% shade) with 91.70% and 100%, respectively. The treatment composed of 60% shade for the variable plant height reached 84.11 cm, plant diameter of 1.95 cm, number of days to flowering of 131, number of stems per plant of 5.64, yield per square meter of 36.44 stems, polar and equatorial diameter of 19.46 and 13.01 mm respectively and yield per hectare of 101,520.00 stems. It is concluded that treatment with 60% shade is the best alternative to produce hydrangea under greenhouse. T1 treatment also obtained the highest benefit/cost ratio with 1.13 dollars, profitability of 12.54%. It is recommended to use T1 treatment (60% shade) to get the best profit in the cultivation of Hydrangea (Hydrangea spp. L.).
