Resumen
The research project aimed to analyze what would be the appropriate concentration of cannabidiol in a gel-cream to decrease the activity of the sebaceous glands in the mixed or grease faces from randomized participants. An experimental study was carried out in the made of two formulations of gel-cream based on cannabidiol (CBD), to three concentrations where the CBD1 gel-cream had a concentration of 0.25%, CBD2 with a concentration of 0.5%, and CBD3 with a concentration of 1%, in this experiment the formulation two, the one that met the desired parameters was used. The activity of the sebaceous glands was determined by using an equipment called a skin analyzer. This experiment was conducted over the period of four weeks, a time in which the sebum concentration was measured in the face of the participants every week of the study. The results obtained were: for the participants who used CBD1 there was no significant change in the decrease in sebum activity on the face, participants who used CBD2 had minimal decreased sebum activity on the face, unlike the participants who used CBD3, the sebum activity on the face obviously decreased. Statistical analysis was performed, the difference of means in ANOVA in which the two gel-creams CBD1 and CBD2 were correlated. There fore the CBD3 statistical analysis was performed with the Kruskal-Wallis test. It was concluded that CBD3 gel-cream would be the optimal formulation to decrease the activity of sebaceous glands in the mixed or grease faces of people. It is recommended to run studies of toxicity to ensure the safety of the users.
