Resumen
The following study pretends to understand the incidence that a performance evaluation has on attitudes and aptitudes of collaborators of a business organization, in this case the Administrative Management Directorate of the GADM Guano. Initially, the performance
evaluation of the macro general level to the micro organizational level from the perspective of
various authors, in addition, a bibliographic collection of studies related to performance
evaluation in its different forms and especially the 360-degree model in public administration
institutions was carried out and the evaluation system of performance of the GADM Guano
was taken as a point of reference to define an efficient evaluation tool. Field data was collected using on-site surveys and interviews, which helped understand the environment in which traditional performance appraisal takes place. It was found that executing a 360-degree
performance evaluation increases a collaborator's awareness of their work and their contribution to performance as a department, management and organization. In addition, it was possible to see from different perspectives whether the development of tasks and activities is taking place in a proper way. The results revealed that the members of the management are not involved in
the entire performance evaluation process and consequently are not aware of their own
performance. Also, it was possible to understand that the main deficiency of the Administrative Management Directorate of the GADM Guano lies on communication, and adjacent problems detected arise from a poor transmission of functions, tasks and responsibilities both individually and among the institutional departments. In response, a 360-degree performance evaluation tool was launched that quantifies the individual's relationship with the environment and the impact of individual results on the achievement of periodic organizational goals
