Resumen
The objective of this work was based on the design, modeling and control of a packaging line for the production of yogurt as a support for future automation in the Dairy Industry CENTINELA DEL NORTE S.A. by proposing the characteristics and parameters necessary in the heat treatment, suction-deposit, filling-discharge and heat-sealing processes that will serve as the basis for the simulation of the control loops of the most important sub-processes such as: temperature in the heat treatment with respect to to the flow of steam in the jacket of a kettle and level in a hopper and distribution tank depending on the opening of inlet and outlet valves, through the SIMULINK platform after modeling mathematics of the processes dynamically and their linearization to find a transfer function that represents the behavior in steady state as a basis for obtaining control parameters of Kp = 1.5 and Kp = 10 for the temperature in homogenization and pasteurization of the milk respectively and Kp = 2.98 and Ki = 0.1345 for the hopper level control allowing the threads to stabilize from 8 to 24 seconds representing great advantages over the conventional process. In addition, a mathematical model was found in which the conditions that exist in the suction and discharge line in the distribution tank were related in order to know the time in which the desired level of liquid is reached, being 70 seconds approximately. Recommended process for food industries that manufacture fluids with similar characteristics since based on behavior and change conditions in the design can serve as support for automation in which the use of time and production obtained by controlling and stabilizing the variables involved in the processes.
