Resumen
In the present work of degree the development of the web system was developed to simulate the wave phenomena in 2D and 3D applying the mathematical models of differential equations in partial derivatives and the solutions of dAlambert and Fourier using the programming language java, Bootstrap for the design of web interfaces and PostgreSQL as a database manager. The web system was made based on the agile development methodology SCRUM, which helped to manage the activities in an optimal way, generating a pleasant work environment for the client and the development team. Technological tools were used such as: JavaScript, Bootstrap 4.1 Framework, PostgreSQL 10.1, Glassfish Server 4.1 and NetBeans IDE 8.2. The final product was evaluated according to the evaluation metrics indicated by ISO IEC 9126 based on portability and efficiency, resulting in the web system having 100% portability and 12% resource utilization. In this way, it was concluded that the system is portable and efficient, thus complying with the quality of software and contributing to the teaching-learning process of vectorial calculation in the Faculty of Informatics and Electronics of the Polytechnic School of Chimborazo in the city of Riobamba. It is recommended to review the user manual attached to the document for a correct manipulation of the system.
