Resumen
The objective of this technical project is building and exposing the operation of an automated system for process control, which uses the MyDAQ data acquisition card from National Instruments for the interaction between the different electronic components used in this project, such as: frequency inverter, relay module, voltage regulator module, proximity sensor, barrier type and three-phase squirrel cage motor. The control system communication was developed using the LabVIEW software and the SystemLink web server, which provides the possibility of a wireless connection to facilitate controlling and monitoring an industrial process. As a demonstration, a prototype of a conveyor belt was elaborated incorporating this system; providing this way the possibility of controlling the band and counting the number of products that pass through it, from an electronic device either in direct connection to the system or also remotely through the web server. In conclusion, after having carried out several functional tests of the control and monitoring system, it was demonstrated a time saving using the web control compared to the traditional control, made by human personnel, precision in the counting of products and in general an optimization of time spent in the process. It is recommended to acquire the data acquisition card depending on the type of process to be carried out and take into account the number of instruments used in it.
