Resumen
The project objective was to use two organic sources to produce Lolium multiflorum (Tetraploid annual ryegrass). At the Chuqui Remache Family property located in the Joyagshi communityof the Chunchi Canton, Chimborazo Province, for the experimental work developing the use oftwo organic sources was necessary (organic-mineral fertilizer Fertiplus 4t/ha and humus 4t/ha). In the production of Lolium multiflorum (Tetraploid annual ryegrass), more than one control treatment use was necessary at the beginning of the fieldwork. With seven replications, for the analysis of the experimental results, the use of a Completely Random Block Design with the statistical analysis ADEVA was essential to determine the differences and the Tukey test for the separation of means at P <0.05. In the evaluation of the productive behaviour, the best responses were determined with the application of humus, where a more excellent baseline coverage was achieved after 45 days (70.29%); 60 days (87.71%), as well as the higher air coverage at 45 days (98.86%);
60 days (99.29%). Also, greater heights are achieved at 45 days of (102.36 cm), 60 days (106.49 cm). The best forage production reported in the meadows fertilized with humus because the green matter production was of 13.11 t/ha/GF/cut, as well as the more considerable amount of dry matter that was 2.53 t / ha / DM, the findings showed that the best treatment from the economic point of view was the application of humus, since the result of benefit/cost was of
1.80. The conclusion is that the best response was obtained by fertilizing the plots with organic fertilizer (humus) to evaluate the productive behavior and forage production of Lolium multiflorum (Tetraploid annual ryegrass). The recommendation is to promote humus applications in different forage species because it improves forage production and has a low cost of processing.
