Resumen
This technical project refers to the design and construction of an automatic P.E.T plastic crushing machine with a capacity of 15 Kg / h, which will help to protect the environment and allow the process of reducing the waste of this polluting material. In the methodology for the analysis and selection of alternatives, the method of the QFD quality house was applied, in which three aspects necessary for the machine were worked, the rotation speed, control system and the shredding system. It was obtained as a result in speed, the use a gearbox, in the control system, the use of an Arduino MEGA, sensors and distributed blades in the shredding system. The selected machine was designed in SOLIDWORKS software, SAP2000 and with the AISI 360-10 standard for application in the construction of metallic structures. The automation part was carried out based on an algorithm in which the automatic and manual part was guaranteed. For its programming, an Arduino mega was used, devices for the detection of the material to be shredded and one for the stop of the machine by filling of container. Then for safety reasons an emergency system was placed. Finally, the P.E.T. complies the following specifications: a granulometry between 5 to 10 mm, the crushing capacity of 14 kg / h very close to the established value of 15 kg / h, it is an acceptable value to be a prototype with a satisfactory automatic and manual operation.
