Resumen
The purpose of this study was to synthesize methacryloyl gelatine (GelMA) by modifying porcine skin gelatine type A with the help of methacrylic anhydride based on the reaction technique with phosphate buffered saline (PBS) this process was performed by varying the methacrylic anhydride in 12ml, 2.5 ml and 0. 75ml, also the reaction time was varied in 180 min, 120 min, 60 min, everything was carried out with a constant temperature of 50º C, in total six samples were obtained that were studied in three characterisation tests, the first one was the infrared spectroscopy with Fourier transform that shows us the chemical groups of each sample highlighting the peaks of the amine functional groups NH, stretching group (amide I), amide II and amide III. Scanning electron microscopy analysed the morphology of methacryloyl gelatinee and its porous nature, using ImagenJ and OriginPro 9 software, it was found that the sample containing 12 ml of methacrylic anhydride, and 15 grams of gelatinee has the largest average pore size of 150 microns, which benefits oxygen diffusion and supports cell growth. sessile drop technique, images of interaction between the drop and the samples were obtained, which were subsequently studied with Kinovea contact angles which showed that all the samples have a high degree of wettability as the fluid spreads over the surface of the solid (sample). It is recommended to analyse the proportions of gelatinee, methacrylic anhydride and phosphate salt solution for the synthesis as this will affect the final result.
