Resumen
In the program of minor species of the School of Livestock sciences, we assessed the effect of different levels of bran of quinoa in the feeding of cuyes improved in the stage of growth-fattening, were used 80 cuyes (40 males and 40 females), with a weight prome From 384.34 G, the experimental results were modeled under a completely random design and indicate that the use of the different levels of quinoa bran (5, 10, 15 and 20%), in the daily diets of cuyes, presents positive responses in the Productive behavior, surpassing in all the parameters to the control treatment. The best level of quinoa Bran was 15% (T3), since it reported the highest final weight values (1194.00 g), Weight gain (812.94 g), forage consumption (2102.66 gr.), Concentrate (386.25 g), while the highest total feed intake was T4 treatment ( 20%), with 5386.31 G. The productive characteristics are improved by adding 15% of quinoa bran, because it reported the most appropriate values of food conversion (6,62), and weight to the carcass (838.85 gr). The effect of the sex of the animal identified the best productive results in males specifically for food conversion that was 7.17. The greatest benefit was determined in the treatment T3 (15% of bran of quinoa) because it obtained a benefit ratio of 1.30, ie that for every dollar invested has a profitability of 30 cents was obtained.
