Resumen
The purpose of the present qualification work was to optimize the time in the planning processes, methodological monitoring of the teaching activity and academic performance of the Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo (ESPOCH). The time in carrying out the processes of planning and methodological monitoring, determined by means of interviews to the authorities and surveys to a sample of 253 teachers, was an average of 692.24 minutes. Once the Planning Control System, Methodological Monitoring and Academic Performance of the ESPOCH were developed, using the SCRUM methodology and Java Server Pages (JSP), through direct observation of a sample of 384 reports, it was obtained that the average times were 4.4 minutes. Applying referential statistics, with 95% certainty and margin of error of 5% to compare the means, it was shown that there are significant differences, so it is concluded that the system improves by 99,4% the time of generation of information of these processes. The integration of digital signatures of the planning and monitoring documents is recommended, with the aim of supporting the zero-papper policy.
