Resumen
The present research proposes: to prospect for gold in the Yungantza sector, throungh geochemidtry of soils and rocks, whose guidinng elements are correlated with each other amd with geological structures of the field, to infer a posible relation to epitermal deposits: applying a methodology of work distributed in three phases. In the first one the fieldwork was carried out, which consists of the geological mapping and the collection of samples of soil and rocks with an approximate weight of 1kg each, properly georeferenced; The second describes the laboratory work in which the samples were prepared for analysis by the atomic absorption spectrometry method where the concentration of Arsenic and Antimoy of the analysed samples in obtained; In the third, the necessary statistical analysis was performed to determine the normal and anomalic values for the elaboration of the different thematic maps. The results reveal that in the study área there are anatomical concentrations of the explored elements (arces and antimony), both in the soil and in the rock, allowing to infer that in the área of investigation is related to a primary deposit, but in cannot be determined tre type of reservoir. According to Pearson`s correlation coefficient there is an Independence between the two explorers. It is recommended to expand the sampling mesh in a northwesterly direction since in that direction trere is a greater concentration of anomalies of the exploring elements.
