Resumen
The objective of this degree work is to implement a data acquisition system in a creep test machine to generate the creep curve in ferrous materials. The work was developed in different stages starting from the bibliographic review regarding data acquisition systems (DAQ) to determine the requirements and components of the system to be implemented. Next, the characterization of the creep testing machine was carried out by analyzing the systems present in the machine. Subsequently, the conceptual design of the system was carried out for the selection of the equipment and instruments to be used through the comparison of their operational and functional benefits, once it was selected, the system was implemented in the creep test machine. Upon completion of this process, the graphic interface design and programming were carried out within the Labview software, having as essential points the acquisition, monitoring, storage, and generation of the creep curve in real time. Finally, the tests were carried out for the evaluation and verification of the implemented system by developing tests on ASTM A36 specimens at a temperature of 500 ° C and 1321.1 PSI. As a result, an error of less than 1% was obtained in the acquisition of instantaneous deformation and an average 5.90% in comparison with the data obtained manually. It was concluded that the implemented system has a correct operation in data management through the recording, visualization, generation and reporting of the creep characteristic curve in real time during the tests. It is recommended to socialize the investigations of the creep phenomenon studied from the implementation of the DAQ system in the creep test machine.
