Abstract

In this project a study of the state of the art of the currently commercial wheelchairs is carried out, later the design of the wheelchair is made based on an analysis of mechanics of materials; of the bar mechanism followed by a technical financial analysis, and finally the construction of the folding electric wheelchair using national raw materials.
