Resumen
One of the most used methods in Telecommunications is wireless technology, which uses electromagnetic waves to send or receive information. Due to the increase of these wireless systems and the non-ionizing radiation that they can emit, the study of the impact that these radiations can have on the population is carried out constantly by the international organizations that watch over health. Due to this, international recommendations were created that are used by the State organisms to verify compliance with the limits of exposure to this type of radiation, the way of measuring them and methods of evaluating results. Therefore, this technical project was carried out with the objective of making a comparative analysis of radiation levels allowed by international standards in wireless systems in different urban areas of the city of Guayaquil. This technical project helped us in understanding the limits of radiation levels, included topics such as electromagnetism, types of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, descriptions of the technologies used by the wireless systems that were analyzed, radiation protection organizations not Ionizing, preventive measures and exposure limit values. In the methodology we find the procedures that were used to perform the measurements of non-ionizing radiation, the possible risks to health are also briefly described with a brief analysis of studies carried out, characteristics and form of how the equipment was used, calculation of the Exposure limit values. The analysis of the results shows the results of the analysis made from the measurements obtained with the SPECTRAN HF-2025 equipment, statistical tables and a verification of compliance with the exposure limit values in the selected sectors of the city of Guayaquil.
