Resumen
This investigation details the study, design, simulation and implementation of a system
to heat sanitary water by electromagnetic induction, consisting of six subsystems that
together run the heater. First the power circuit subsystem is powered by the electrical
grid, which is responsible for generating a variable magnetic field and consists of a
rectifier, filter and a class E resonant inverter; second the firing circuit subsystem, an
array of resistors that allows to raise the voltage obtained in the control subsystem to
properly activate the switch that is in the first subsystem; third, the synchronization
subsystem indicates the time of activation of the switch of the first subsystem
achieving the ZVS condition; fourth the conditioning subsystem, a set of circuits that
allows accurate reading of sensor values by conditioning their signal and filtering to
be used by the control subsystem; fifth the control subsystem, monitors the heater
system variables and performs control actions on the activation of the switch of the
first subsystem; sixth the supply subsystem, converts the voltage obtained from the
electrical grid into voltage levels required for the operation of the control subsystems
and firing circuit. This project contains equations that allow to size electronic
components that make up the induction sanitary water heater for implementation,
through the results obtained from the research carried out, allows a sizing of materials
for higher power levels.
