In the present research a prototype of dynamic balance weights for verification moving on a conveyor belt has been implemented using the software LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench) and PIC (Peripheral Interface Controller) that is help ful in quality control final product for the food industry, continuously monitoring the maximum permissible error weight according to the local standard NTE INEN 0483 (1980) for packaged or packaged products ranging from 20g to 1000g be rejected where the products not complying with this standard. The speed of the bands of the prototype can be adjusted from 0.1 to 0.4m / s allowing more or less products pass at a given time. Additional prototype has a metal detection module for early warning of ferromagnetic materials in the consumer product guide as shown in compliance with Food and Drug Administration of the United States (Food and Drug Administration) FDA 555 425 on presence and the risk of hard or sharp objects in food, in this module metal ferromagnetic objects within the single product detected.
Transnational food industries with strict quality controls using the dynamic balance or checkweigher and metal detectors in their production lines and to help ensure a quality product to consumers thus improving the image of the company.
