Abstract

This is a photographic documentary that records all manifestations of popular culture that occur around the festival that takes place in the parish of San Joaquin every May. This festival is made in honor of the Virgin Auxiliadora, Patroness and Protectress of this parish. This work has been made as a contribution to the recovery of historical memory for the inhabitants of this area and why not for Cuenca city. In addition it urges to be declared as Intangible Heritage.
