Resumen
This document is to present the details of the design and implementation of a training module for the industrial automation laboratory located at the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana Sede Guayaquil, which will have 10 sheets where equipment and installed elements will be found that will allow them develop different practices in the chairs of Industrial Automation I and II, and Computer Networks III. The equipment and main elements of the module are: a Siemens Simatic S7-1500 CPU 1516 3PN / DP PLC, a Siemens Scalance XB005 Switch, a Siemens PM 190 W 120/230 VAC load power supply, a Siemens KTP700 Basic Color Touch Panel PN, a Siemens Sinamics V20 Frequency Inverter, a three-phase motor, a Mean Well DR-15-12 switching source, 10 solid state relays and an ABB ACS-355 Frequency Inverter test module. Among other elements, there are also: 4 digital DC meters, 16 pushbuttons, an ON / OFF switch, 3 emergency stop pushbuttons, 6 precision potentiometers, 15 pilot lights, 3 RJ45 adapters, a DB9 connector, 7 protection fuses and cables of different lengths with male banana plugs and female banana plugs installed in the plates for the different connections in the module.
This module was designed with the main purpose that new students who enter the Electronic Engineering career have state-of-the-art equipment in which they can develop practices and generate skills that they will then put into practice in the workplace.
