People with mental distress often find themselves experiencing negative effects related to stigma, which is frequently internalized and has a damaging impact. It has been considered to inquire about those erroneous conceptions that are rooted within society, and how they frequently have to deal with the difficulties that derive from misguided thoughts about the problems or symptoms of their condition, thus generating discrimination and stigmatization.
