For the evaluation of the thermal load of the medical offices, the climatic conditions corresponding to the Quito Zone are taken as a reference. According to meteorological yearbooks of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, information was collected to apply the calculation of thermal loads using international standards and necessary programs.
We base our estimates on the standards of the American Society of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating (ASHRAE) is an international technical society dedicated to improving the quality of life through technological advances related to heating, cooling, air conditioning and ventilation. The international standard guarantees comfort and air filtration of the different areas to be heated.
In air conditioning systems with variable refrigerant volume there is an external unit that will be connected with multiple internal units through insulated copper pipes. A software will be used: Diamond System Builder Mitsubishi Electric for the calculation of the diameter of pipes, type evaporators, condensers, refrigerant charge. VRV systems are high-tech equipment, with components
electronic devices that allow self-diagnosis for easy maintenance programming or timely reporting of the origin of the fault, for which a central control will be used. This will help us gather information for good performance or to apply preventive maintenance of the air conditioning system. Its programming process is quick and easy, ensuring each process review point, guaranteeing the correct configuration of the system, leaving it ready for
operate.
