Resumen
The resonance phenomenon can occur in
an electrical power system, which is
caused by the presence of harmonics in the
network, the same ones that are produced
by non-linear loads (eg: systems
supported by power electronics), therefore
their impedance is not constant, and they
generate undesired results putting the
quality of energy to consumers at risk.
Therefore, nowadays research is being
carried out to understand nature, such as
the consequences that these cause in
electrical networks. This study is essential
because this phenomenon can damage the
circuit of the electrical installation since it
conducts high current and voltage values.
For this reason, there are several methods
to study resonance, but using them is not
entirely easy. This document is focused on
a bibliographic review and investigation
of the methods to calculate the harmonic
resonance and then a comparative analysis
of the same is carried out. In addition, a
new methodology is proposed which helps
to detect the resonance in the SEP in a
more sensitive way without omitting any
components. This is done in DigSILENT
PowerFactory software on the IEEE 9-bus
test system.
