Resumen
The study and evaluation of stages in photovoltaic systems is made difficult by the changing meteorological conditions, not allowing the planning of the work, large spaces are also needed to install the panels and high costs thereof.
The development begins with the study of the mathematical model of a photovoltaic panel that is implemented together with a graphical interface (HMI) that allows entering the values of the parameters that intervene in the mathematical model, graphs in real time the curves of Voltage vs Irradiance, Current vs Voltage and Power vs Voltage, shows the duty point of a step-down DC-DC converter.
Not-controlled three-phase full-wave alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) converter was designed, using a three-phase rectifier bridge and a capacitive filter allowing power to the step-down converter.
A step-down converter was also designed that adjusts the output voltage according to the duty cycle that the switch receives from the controller (PID) in closed loop and this in turn takes the reference voltage data calculated by the mathematical model through Bluetooth communication. coming from the HMI.
The developed project serves for the planning of research work on photovoltaic systems, without dependence on meteorological conditions, facilitating the study within a laboratory, without the need for physical panels and wide areas that are normally used for their installation.
