The following project aims to design and mold a geomembrane biodigester that allows the entrance of a mixture of solid waste coming from animals such as pigs, giving us biogas as a result that will allow savings in Finca el Rosal. The dimensions are 1 m in diameter and 6 meters long, which gives us an area of 4.71m^3, which is necessary to meet the biogas production goal. Itemizing the materials to be used, they will be a geomembrane and a PVC pipe, because they have a longer useful life that adapts to the objective of 10 years of operation of the biodigester.
For which a simulation was carried out in the ANSYS FLUENT program of the biodigester and its operation given the previously calculated conditions, during this simulation it was possible to demonstrate that there is a phase change that occurs from the heat transfer due to the various properties of methane such as pressure, speed, temperature, viscosity and density. With this 2D simulation, it was found that methane at a higher temperature produces an increase in its pressure, speed and viscosity while its density decreases, which as a result becomes a gas that can be transported to the main place of the farm where it will be used.
Finally, a projected cost analysis was carried out for a useful life of 10 years, resulting in the investment being recovered in 3 years 4 months, generating a total profit of what is generated in 6 years 8 months, giving reliability to this project.
