The present investigative work addresses the deficiencies of the evaluation of the subject of Language and Literature, the main element of the teachers to evaluate the learning of the students is the evaluation, that is where the teacher knows the level of learning of the students. The teacher must know what evaluation methods and instruments to apply according to the educational needs of each student, achieving successful educational progress. The purpose of this research work is to analyze methods, instruments and techniques to evaluate students. The research has a mixed approach, its methodological design is a case study, the techniques used are: content analysis and surveying teachers. therefore, results were obtained that have allowed verifying that the evaluation methods, techniques, and instruments help the teacher, demonstrating that if the evaluation is successfully applied, significant learning is achieved in the students, the most significant finding is that the methods, techniques, and evaluation instruments, planning, types of evaluation, feedback help a successful educational process, so that learning is achieved by students. in such a way it is concluded that the methods, techniques and instruments are fundamental in the educational field since they guide to improve each learning obtained by each student.
