Resumen
The research work focuses specifically on the importance, belonging and permanence that exists in the population about the afroesmeraldeños lullabies. Being they belong to customs and ancestral traditions of this culture.
From the Communication based on Fanon's contribution, the man descends from an African culture. Therefore, customs and traditions are adapted according to the environment in which each individual develops.
This seeks the revitalization of these teachings that over time have been transformed into new forms of artistic / cultural expression. It is key to bear in mind that this knowledge has clearly original meanings and that its symbolism is related to the spiritual world.
Pioneers in orality are highlighted in the city of Esmeraldas and the aim is to keep ancestral knowledge intact, such as lullabies, chigualos and praises. Which are triggers of the cultural richness that exist in the Afro people, where these ceremonial songs have given meaning to their existence.
The lullabies are transmitted from one generation to another, and according to the interviews carried out with the young people of the city, the structure in terms of ancestral symbolism has changed over time, since the vast majority do not know the essence of the Afro musicality.
