Resumen
The objective of this degree work is the Design and implementation of Industrial Automation practices using the S7-1200 PLC Controller through the EPC Process Plant.
The main objective of this project is create a communication interface between the S7-1200 PLC and the EPC process plant, in which a bank of 10 didactic practices was designed, and these optimize the use of the repowered modules. In this way, students can develop various practices, using all their knowledge acquired theoretically.
The main idea and importance of the project was focused on providing students of the Electronic Engineering career of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana Sede Guayaquil, two repowered PLC modules for the subject of Industrial Automation, which are linked to the Process Plant (EPC), for the resolution of various practices, in which they are controlled from the front panel of the module, allowing students of the Electronic Engineering career of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana Sede Guayaquil to obtain a broader panorama of the concepts taught in classrooms and laboratories, leaving aside conventional practices with large training plants to work in a smaller environment.
