Popular festivals within a country are representations that commemorate different religious, cultural, ethnic, and other events. These celebrations are essential elements depending on the holiday, because each one has its particularities. In the Chilibulo Marcopamba, La Raya takes place in May, the Fiesta de las Cruces, a cultural ritual that consists of ascending to the Úngüi and Chilindalo hills to celebrate the "Mooring of the Crosses", in order to thank the Pachamama for the food received. The present research seeks to visualize each and every one of the aspects that were made during the documentary process, as well as field work. The theoretical framework provides the necessary support to show in detail how the ancestral Ecuadorian tradition has been worked, as well as its evolution over time. In addition, the methodology follows a mixed ethnographic approach to record and observe different cultural knowledge, and analyze the results of the methods used to verify the occurrence of the events. Also, in the fieldwork the place of the events was analyzed and how the community intervenes during the celebration of the "Amarre de las Cruces" party. Based on the established work plan, the collection of information was directed in the Chilibulo Marcopamba La Raya Commune, in order to observe how the community is organized in the sector, and to highlight the behavior of the inhabitants when carrying out the traditions, in This is the reason for the present study: "El Amarre de las Cruces".
