Resumen
The design of the transmission data of the Electricity Corporation of Ecuador
CELEC EP - TRANSELECTRIC, which allows to integrate the equipment with
SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy), DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division
Multiplexing) and OTN (Optical Transport Network) technologies. Was performed
considering the three important concepts about technologies SDH, DWDM and
OTN, this contributed to get a clear vision of how each works to make the design you
have. Following this study of the status of the grid making an analysis of services
and allowing sections to demonstrate the lack of protection and ability in it and I
bring in addition to know how to make the design had to be made for this reason,
decided a three-stage design, the first two migrations is proposed sections, thus
encapsulating services SDH and DWDM network with a limited capacity within a
single link to the OTN, and the third phase aims migration of high-capacity services
directly from client computers to the OTN , to free ports on SDH multiplexers that
are saturated .
Finally, an analysis of the requirements for implementation of the proposed design is
realized.
Thus resources are optimized and network CELEC EP - TRANSELECTRIC will
adapt better way to customer requirements providing a better service.
