THE DEGREE PROJECT HAD THE GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL MODULE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRACTICES IN THE OPTICAL COMMUNICATIONS LABORATORY OF THE SALESIANA POLYTECHNICAL UNIVERSITY CLASSROOMS WITH THE 10 OPTICAL COMMUNICATIONS PRACTICES.
1.- RECOGNITION OF MATERIALS, TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT OF THE OPTICAL COMMUNICATIONS LABORATORY.
2.- PREPARATION OF MONOMODE AND MULTIMODE OPTICAL FIBER FOR CONNECTORIZATION IN RACK OF OPTICAL COMMUNICATIONS.
3.- FUSION OF FIBER OPTICAL FUSION MCMODE AND MULTI-MODE FUSIONING.
4.- PREPARATION OF FIBER-OPTICAL FUSION MCMODE CONDITIONER OF ODF (DISTRIBUTOR OF OPTICAL FIBER) OF THE OPTICAL COMMUNICATIONS FRAME.
5.- MEASUREMENTAND REVIEW OF OPTICAL FIBER WITH OPTICAL POWER METER.
6.- USE OF OTDR YOKOGAWA
7.- USE OF OPTICAL SPLITTER AND OPTICAL POWER MEASUREMENTS.
8.- MEASUREMENTS AND REVIEW OPTICAL FIBER WITH YOKOGAWA OTDR.
9.- IMPLEMENTATION OF OPTICAL LINKS IN AN EXTERNAL PLANT USING OPTICAL SLEEVES AND MONOMODE FIBER.
10.- DATA TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION WITH OPTICAL FIBER NETWORK.
WITH SUCH PRACTICES STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO PERFORM A CORRECT PREPARATION OF FIBER OPTIC LINKS AND ANALYSIS OF MEASUREMENTS OF EACH LINK OF THE OPTICAL NETWORKS THAT ARE POSED IN THE PRACTICE BANK, AS WELL AS THE STUDENTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITIES TO WIN THE OPT. A DEEPER STUDY OF THIS MEANS OF COMMUNICATION.
