Corporate social responsibility is a voluntary commitment assumed by organizations that considers the legitimate needs of interest groups, leading to socially responsible strategic management, which responds to the challenges that organizations must assume in the face of the new demands of interest groups. This research aims to explore the perceptions of union leaders on corporate social responsibility practices. An exploratory factor analysis was carried out and, statistically significant differences were revealed that contribute to the design of socially responsible strategies. It can be noted that, among the findings, only statistically significant differences were found according to income level; in addition, expectations are focused on the Legal-Ethical dimension. Finally, future inquiries must consider various elements that underlie the study of corporate social responsibility for a better understanding of the phenomenon under study.
