Construyendo comunidad en el Chile Neoliberal: el proyecto político del CSD Estrella del Sur de Puente Alto

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como finalidad analizar la experiencia barrial del Club Social y Deportivo Estrella del Sur, fundado el año 2015, en la comuna de Puente Alto, con el objeto de repensar el fútbol y la sociedad actual. Lo que motiva esta investigación es plantear un análisis sobre la forma en que el deporte puede ser utilizado como instrumento de recomposición del tejido social en el Chile actual, debilitado por el predominio de una cultura neoliberal que promueve el individualismo, el consumismo y la despolitización de los diversos actores de la sociedad civil.

The present article aims to analyze the neighborhood experience of the Club Social y Deportivo Estrella del Sur, founded in 2015, on the commune of Puente Alto, in order to rethink football and the actual society. What motivates this research is to propose an analysis on the way in which sports can be used as an instrument for the recomposition of the social tissue in the actual Chile, weakened by the prevalence of a neoliberal culture, that promotes individualism, consumerism and the depoliticization of the different actors of civil society.
