Resumen
The present chapter addresses mechanistic aspects of reactions involving hydroxylamine and derivatives which produce HNO but are normally not used as HNO donors. Organic hydroxylamines and NH2OH itself are endogenous compounds produced in normal mammalian cell metabolism. Therefore, its reactions can be classified into two main types: 1.1. Hydroxylamine in inorganic reactions; 1.2. Hydroxylamine in biological systems.
