Resumen
“Digital twining” is one the main ways of establishing data channels in cyber-physical systems using both the outputs of running a virtual model and real time data collected by sensors. The purpose to this paper is to outline the digital twin of a cyber-physical production system. We apply the System Dy namics paradigm to the case of a shop-floor factory devoted to cloud manufac turing. The digital twin uses data from the real production line, providing assis tance to maintenance procedures triggered by inconsistencies between the real and the virtual processes.
