Autonomous Vehicles are being introduced to our society on a daily basis, the whole concept of IoT has an ever growing presence, by combining the two concepts into one “Quasi-Smart City” control and communication scheme, we can get an integrated system whose first design approach is presented in this paper along with the analysis of integration techniques and protocols to develop a smart vehicle inside a state of the art communication environment which is a Smart Campus, where autonomous cars, different sensors, school data, and smart signaling combined, conform a whole new network to offer new services to the academic community such as transporting across the University Campus, smart energy appliances and smart parking among other benefits which are intended to assist general and impaired individuals who are exposed to a very high temperature during the summer time.
