dc.description.abstractThe work presented below is intended to inform children, youth and the general public, the development that has taken the art since the rise of early civilizations which are expressed in the region called "Mesopotamia" The cultures of Mesopotamia were pioneers in many branches of knowledge, developed writing was called cuneiform, in the field of law, created the first codes of law, in architecture, developed important advances such as the vault and the dome, created a schedule of 12 months and 360 days and invented the sexagesimal numbering system. Archaeological remains, and perhaps many undiscovered, show a culture that exerted a powerful influence on other civilizations of the time and therefore the subsequent development of many civilizations.
