El desarrollo humano –como cualquier otra condición o manifestación de las especie humana– se espacializa en el territorio, y de esta manera se constituye el hábitat humano. Ante los problemas del mundo, igualmente espacializados –tal como se reflejan en el planeta– los retos se hacen más complejos, extensos y profundos. De ahí que un fundamento ético, que recupere la esencia de la relación del hombre con la naturaleza y de éste con sus semejantes, será fundamental para el logro de los objetivos trazados. Es decir, la planeación del desarrollo y, asimismo, la planeación del territorio deben pasar por una ética ecológica y antropológica.Human development, as any other condition or manifestation of human beings, is spatialized in a territory, and this way the human habitat is constituted. Due to the problems of the world, also spatialized –reflected on the planet– the challenges become more complex, extensive and deep. Because of this, an ethical foundation that helps returning to the essence of the relationship between man and nature and man with man, is key for achieving these goals. Therefore, planning for development and territory must be based on an environmental and anthropological ethics.
