Resumen
The results of the 2015 Millennium Goals make clear the extension of rural public service networks in Latin America; being sanitation coverage the one that allows to establish an explanatory model for the region. Starting in 1990, the models sets up a dependence on water coverage, rural population and economy. For the year 2000, model only correlates with drinking water coverage, but from 2015 onwards, it returns to a model that covers the three explanatory variables.
