The study on School Management aimed to know the perception of principals regarding Emergency Remote Education (ERE). The main points of discussion were the challenges and strategies for supporting and implementing the ERE in the face of social inequalities in Internet access in households. The bibliographic and explanatory research showed as results the need to rethink school management as a democratic process to expand the universal right to education. It is concluded that the work of school managers is essential in emergency situations. This includes developing strategies such as, for example, the possibility of interventions through the school council on issues of school dropout and solutions in the face of the insufficiency of public policies to ensure access to the Internet.
