dc.description.abstractThis study has the purpose of reflecting about the gender relations in the context of Heavy Metal as well as its interaction with the feminist movement and its influence in the changes in the metal scene. It was written as an experience report, built upon theoretical aspects, particularly the critical perspective of Social Psychology while dialoguing with feminist studies and materialism culture, the study presented photographs and life experiences as a way of putting into perspective the materiality experience of an individual who is fond of the cited musical genre, a cisgender man who supports the feminist movement, a musical practitioner and as a future psychologist.
