dc.description.abstractThe environmental education seeks the construction and reconstruction of knowledge, values and the subject’s feelings regarding life, fortifying the bound of human beings to their world and so it directs attitudes and postures, granting a natural balance and adding quality to life. Child education is the initial stage of basic knowledge, awarding small children the right of care and education, within a social, educational and pedagogical space prepared to stimulate their development. With the purpose of analyzing the theme of environmental education in child education, we covered paths as the job of the tutor, planning and classes in the attempt of putting in doubt the organization of planning and practices of the teaching body in what it refers to the environmental education. Therefore, this paper was developed in the “Núcleo de Educação Infatil Ipê Amarelo”, and it had as research subjects the teachers, the trainee and their respective classes. The research happened through a questionnaire with the teachers and trainee and by the inset in their practices and planning. The practices that were organized during the planning, have happened in a natural way without breaking in the plannings, but rather complementing them. Environmental Education with young children comes to create, and/or increase the children´s relationship with the natural ambience trying to make it part of their everyday life. The practices organized during the planning allowed a bigger approach of the children to the natural environment, enabling relations to be established among kids, adults and the environment itself.
