Resumen
This is an experimental project to build a nonlinear medium-length screenplay. We went through the journey of building a script through Christopher Vogler and Herbert Zettl, recognizing the technical elements necessary for formatting, going through the fundamental elements of Michel Chion's narrative, until we reached the final product. It was necessary to evaluate how the concept of non-linearity is applied in cinematographic works, reflecting on its importance and relevance for the dramatization of the story in relation to a story that follows the traditional chronology that we know. The film “Bound by Wound” was based on non-linearity for its writing, and its construction process generated reflections about other elements, in addition to the fundamental ones for any narrative. Among them, the subjectivity of the dialogues and relationships established, the richness of details described in the scene and the amulets left along the script for the spectator stand out. In the end, we can observe through comparative tables that the work would not have the same emotional effect if it had been done linearly and we open up possibilities for other approaches and deepening the story to be done in the future.
